Cultivate Retreat 2014 – Day Two

After all the fun of Day One, we enjoyed an elegant “Peaches and Cream” themed breakfast, which was as beautiful as it was delicious. The beautiful paper goods for this event were provided by 521 Designs and the flowers were designed by Kennedy Occasions and Simply Yours Weddings. We loved the beautiful linens from I Do Linens, too!CultivateRetreat2014_318CultivateRetreat2014_314

Cultivate Retreat 2014 – Day 1

Cultivate Retreat 2014 was a fabulous time. Situated among the towering oak trees dripping with Spanish moss, the Jekyll Island Club Hotel was our host venue and the perfect backdrop for a phenomenal retreat. Here are a few images taken by our talented workshop photographer, Corinna Hoffman!

The room was ready and waiting for our sweet attendees! Fabulous linens (including that sparkly gold number on the stage) were provided by I Do Linens. Emily of Oh Deer Creative sponsored the fun sequin hangers for each attendee. They were definitely a hit!!

What to expect from Cultivate Retreat 2014

Hi Friends!

I hope your week is off to a great start! I’ve had several requests from some sweet folks interested in attending Cultivate this year for me to explain just a bit more about what to expect from the event, so I figured a blog post might be the best way to share this info!

Expect acceptance. Cultivate strives to create a safe, open environment. Our attendees have attested to this fact time and again: if you attend this year, not only will you find yourself inspired by the great sessions, but you will find a welcoming community environment. Unfortunately, several popular conferences have become all about meeting celebrities, seeing-and-being-seen, and dealing with clique-ish situations. Well, I am super proud to say that Cultivate is nothing like that. We encourage warmness, honesty, openness, and you’ll find that that your fellow attendees are so accepting, willing to share and you may just leave with friends for life.

Expect inspiration. Cultivate’s social experiences are crafted with you in mind. We’ll have inspiring settings, delicious food, and attention to your experience so that you’re best able to connect and grow. We want to showcase current trends while still keeping the environment warm and intimate.

Expect sharing. Our speakers have been hand-picked to share at Cultivate because of their openness and commitment to helping other businesses grow. You’ll see that they are very willing to teach, to share what has worked for them, and to give advice if needed.

Expect escape. Our retreat location, Jekyll Island, has been chosen because of its secluded, idyllic vibe. You’ll literally get to escape from the hustle and bustle of the every day, and among the dripping spanish moss and stately Victorian architecture, you’ll be able to think introspectively about your business and identify ideas for growth and areas for change.

In short, we hope that you come expecting an amazing time, because we truly believe you’ll find one.
